There was a discussion on another board about ram air ducts.. I have always been under the impression that ram air comes into effect around 120 to 130 mph when the air being forced into the airbox is greater than the air going into the combustion chamber. This in turn pressurises the airbox making it force air down the velocity stacks into the combustion chamber. Here you will see a gain in HP probably about 4 or 5 on our bikes.. except the early models that just had them for looks.. anyways.. here is a responce that was written If a F4 can sail up 166mph I am breaking out the duct tape and going busa hunting

I was in need of a front tire really bad the other week.. I talked to a buddy of mine at a bike shop. I asked him how fast can he get me a tire. 2 days and Sold it to me for the same price it would cost me to buy it off the net and pay the $6 to $12 for shipping.. :wink: Told him that most places were selling them off the net were averaging about $100 for a front shipped I got a new tire and shagged it nicely all through the mountains of WV :wink:

Best thing you can do is get a nice set of Torque Wrenchs and put them to good use.. I take my bike apart once a yr in the winter time for a full cleaning and maintance go over and inspect and torque things to the proper setting.

They will put a DOT sticker on a salad bowl.. I look more for the Snell 2000m or the Euro sticker.. Remember the padding on teh inside is what asorbs inpact of your noggin

:scratchhead: My torque value scale: 1 grunt.... its tight 2 grunts.... its really tight 3 grunts and a arghghghhh... it was tight, but now its suddenly loose again! I gave my wife a 3 grunt and a arghghghhh last night... bend over and i will show you what I mean :twisted:

I tried looking up engine armor and stuff... google is only as good as the people typing in the correct info Will tell you that adhesive from the UK is some pretty strong shit.. :shock: I believe you could make oil and water stick together with that stuff.

what i do now? :? I love my carbon engine armor, very pretty and covers then hidious gold colored engine cases. Plus if you ever go down its money well spent if you keep your oil on the inside of the bike..
