  1. Oh, also the heads are soft as butter. I have really great drivers that lock in perfectly on all other screws, these end up with damage on every use. I was fitting and adjusting, which meant driving and removing, and had to toss them after 1-2 uses.
  2. Cocksuckers. Also, my mistake for just reaching into the bag and using them. These were sold as wood screws. Look closely. Sheet metal screws.
  3. Yes, and still. He says that the master was overfilled when new. So was the front. This is dealer prep I think, so his dealer seems retarded. It's easy to see the condition of the inside, non-piston side pad by glancing at the bike, and he was satisfied that it was good until it started grinding. The gender thing was just fucking with you all after Mike said not to make it easy yet. But also because I had emphasized that "he" didn't fuck it up, the dealer did. I'm actually not convinced this was the problem.
  4. Not sure if you mean what I typed here, or the original post. I was not involved in that discussion, it's just something I found interesting. I guess it's a bit of both for me. If I *think* about it I go do it, but my background instinct is that the item is gone forever. Or until I go there for other reasons. There's very little reward for having my phone with me during the day, so it's low effort. I had a great time installing the upstairs RO system. If plumbing is anything for you like it is for me, 100 times up and down is obviously just a start. Oh, and I find it annoying that my mountain bike gear is mostly upstairs. I'm annoyed to climb the stairs before...going out for exercise.
  5. US bike. Zero is American made, probably more than Hardley.
  6. I've never noticed visible grease on motorcycle slide pins. Did I just miss it? My Zero is dry. The pin has a slippery feel, like some coating. Bonus points. He's told me now that since this problem was corrected, the brake regen is engaging at all times. Most e-bikes (small and large) have two regen levels. One is when you chop throttle, and most can be set from 0 to 100%. The other is when you touch the brakes, a switch engages the brake-on regen, also tunable for 0-100%. For example, my favorite tune applies around 90% throttle chop, and then goes to only 80 with the brake, so it fades. His preference is 0 throttle and 100 brake. Now when he chops the throttle, it does 100% regen, but does NOT turn on the brake light. Fun shit.
  7. This has a unique door. Grab the handle but not the small lock release inside it, and a full size door opens. Grab it with the release, and only the top 1/3 door piece opens. Really cool. It's rare to need anything other than the Breville do-everything, but sometimes it's useful, for group meals. But I can't see going bigger to use the bottom. If a non-oven just stove were available, I'd buy it and just use the Breville.
  8. It's a split oven, I had both doors open in that pic. The photo of the volcano is on the middle splitter thing. You take it out to make one oven. It's solid, so covering it changes nothing. The bottom oven is dead to me, never used it, can't imagine why I ever will.
  9. We'll have to see if me hinting at the rider's gender could be helpful, or actually could make it much much harder. Hints aren't necessarily helpful, LOL.
  10. Might as well proceed on into the "hint" phase of this game. "He" doesn't do that.
  11. I assume everyone knows about the "magic" of silicone mats. They keep this bullshit from becoming an annoying issue, just shake it off into the trash. But our last mat order came with these split silicone tubes. Now I don't need a mitt to pull a rack out to check cooking or flip something.
  12. Zero (ahem) issues on anything else on the bike. Nothing, perfect record, except this.
  13. That's critical info; rear brake. I don't know if the wheel had been removed.
  14. I know for sure that if I left something on the second floor of the house, I'm less likely to go get it. I don't even care about the stairs and generally fly up them, and congratulate myself for getting another Apple Watch badge for flights climbed, LOL. But my lizard brain is far more likely to tell me that I don't really need that one item, if it's upstairs. If I left my phone up there, please don't bother calling me. Not happening.
  15. Edit: Critical info, rear brake, single piston. These brake pads are 15 months and 12,600km old (62634.092 furlongs). They are on a 2022 Zero FX/E, ridden as a daily commuter and occasional fun. The driver is not retarded, got that out of the way first. What happened? I know, helped him figure it out, so let's have a game. In the end he figured out the actual answer, based on my explanation of what had to happen to get here.
  16. I realized there was a stock number in the CL ad, so I googled that, and found that it's at a dealer. Along with some other shit we'd all love to own. https://www.bellomoto.com/2003-honda-cbr-1100xx-blackbird-bm306
  17. It's overpriced, but scam? I think it reads like the opposite of scam, it's well written and highly personalized. Scams are usually full of generic info and/or errors.
  18. My 2000 model did 142 HP on the dyno stock, and 147 with a fuel-adding tuner. That was in summer in Vegas so it was hot and 2000 feet of elevation. It should be more at sea level and cool.
  19. I always figure small towns would be cheap for things like that. Around here you just find your local Mexican tire (llantera) and pay $7 to R/R (no balance at that price). It's next to a taco shop where you can eat while you wait.
  20. Not only are the types of calories different in their result, but the TIME of them is also. By a lot. https://nutritionfacts.org/video/friday-favorites-is-breakfast-the-most-important-meal-for-weight-loss-or-should-it-be-skipped/?subscriber=true TL;DW: Morning calories increase TDEE and burn easier than evening calories.
  21. Yes, but do you park like a dick, which would justify the zip tie treatment? I think the people who need it most, will be least prepared. Another fun one is pepper spray on the door handle.
