Don't know about your area, but here we can go to third party title places, pay $5 extra, and leave in less than ten minutes.

I don't understand how the state that covers silicon valley can be so far behind on tech.

I ate early last night so I woke up actually wanting breakfast. I just had an avocado toast sandwich with Beyond Sausage, on Dave’s whole grain 21 seed bread. I will probably end up blowing dudes behind the electric car charger at Whole Foods after this. Neither Dave's nor Beyond are totally perfect whole foods, but both are really good. This is a treat that I call 80% healthy, again on the pork rind scale where those are 0%. Another occasional breakfast I forgot about is this, which is damn good: https://www.samsclub.com/p/tattooed-chef-organic-acai-bowl-fruit-granola-frozen-4ct/prod23191549?xid=plp_product_1

"No title" is the keyword I look for to assume "scam." It takes minutes and $4 to get a new title here (just did it last week), so lack of title to me says either scam or a low effort person and I question the item's maintenance. Nice boat though.

Huh, I have that pile of 80s Craftsman I recently found, maybe turn it into more toy money sensible savings?

OMG, they are going to PAY ME to eat avocados?
SwampNut replied to SwampNut's topic in Diet & health exchange
The study is done, after three rounds of the A/B group avocados. I have four left to "dispose" of. None arrived ready to eat per my standards, although they claimed they were ripe and even had a label saying so. Do people really like their avocados kind of hard? I don't want them super mushy, but they should be at the point where you could mash them with a fork into guacamole (or just to spread on toast, because I'm a hipster millennial liberal). The B group today was still slightly too hard. A group was perfect. I think the B is the "lasts an extra five days" group. The B is also far less flavorful. If I'm right, this experiment is a total failure. Every B avocado has been less tasty than the A group. Though one A fruit had a black spot inside, probably from bruising, and just a small one. -
LOL, no, and she clearly ordered an open box deal. Which Amazon would have taken back with full credit and free shipping. Idiots. Most one star reviews are retarded. https://www.reddit.com/r/onestar/

If I'm boiling something in the microwave I'm using these, no mess, and then I can eat at my desk or walking around using the handle. Or close the vent, and take it in the car or on the bike to go. They seal reliably. https://smile.amazon.com/Sistema-Microwave-Collection-Noodle-1109ZS/dp/B009SD35IO/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=sistema&qid=1636390172&sr=8-11 https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005D6Y1OM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

??? The most basic material, PLA, can be made very strong with the right infill (honeycomb) and fill level. One problem it does have is that it can pull apart though with high loading. An easy solution is to brush the inside/outside with a strong and flexible adhesive like Go2. You can print with other materials like nylon carbon fiber, which are crazy strong. The cost is a special nozzle ($20) and the material ($60/kg).

You could just wrap it in butcher paper and ship that way. Would it still be oversized?

They are studying something to do with avocados that last far longer than normal. "Five days extra" has come up. Day 1 test...way unripe. And Fedex even fucked up and got them here a day late. They would have been really bad yesterday. -

I think we had a bit of that conversation here before? I suppose that owning any market is good, whether legal or not. Illegal just makes it that much more profitable. I have no idea what anyone can do about it, just stop buying avocados? -
I once got a fake Chinese clone of a Ukranian clone of a German camera. You know how copies get worse each time you copy them?

I can't wait to see the fake Harbor Freight stuff. That will truly be a glorious day in their history.

What is the lethal dose of plantains and garlic?
SwampNut replied to SwampNut's topic in Diet & health exchange
Probably. Never tried. How will I find the lethal dose then? -
How are you people getting explosions? Sealed containers?? Now I want to try microwaving grains, but it seems like it would take forever if they are real whole oats and groats.
-
Yeah, it has never crossed my mind to make breakfast at 8pm. I barely remember to soak beans the night before to have dinner the next day.
-
Pressure cookers are bomb, yo. The Instant Pot lets me sautee some onions and peppers, then drop broth and dry beans right in, pressure cook, then click over to crockpot mode, and have a stew/bean dinner in a single container with no mess. And lots to fridge/freeze for later. Also great for camping, I just take all my food pre-made. I put them in disposable restaurant containers that are microwave safe.

The Mexican house cleaners say they eat them raw, like a banana, when they get ultra-ripe and turning black. Will have to try it. -

Still working on finding out. Also I've always been a traditionalist with them, but today I decided to try some really high end gochujang, and it's fucking great. Does it make me a crackhead that I take an occasional sip of the mojo because not enough sticks to the plantains? -
I use the pressure cooker. An Instant Pot can change everything about how you cook and help with the healthy prep. I have a three quart for small batches (oats, rice, coconut yogurt etc) and an eight quart for beans and stews. Lots of stews and chile type options that are whole food. I have no idea how to cook them otherwise, and microwave sounds like a no-go to me. Another option is overnight oats where you just let them sit in the liquid. I haven't done it, lots of people love this method.

Yes, that's exactly how it works. Source: Was one of those people doing high end rural services. Here's the thing, even "free" money can't make everything possible. And the FCC prioritizes bringing NEW services to a place well over bringing upgrades. So you have a wire, someone else has nothing, they get fiber. In live in a place with fiber gigabit, closer into town they have copper 100-300 meg. It's just all about timing and funding. When I was doing rural internet we were constantly fighting about the fact that this is a brand new service unlike the existing service, so it could be funded.
-
Rural customers only have service at all because: a. The rest of us fund it for you via RUSF and related government schemes. b. People from the city want coverage when they travel and basically subsidize it. c. A few brave people have fought the FCC to be allowed to put up small private sites in areas that aren't profitable for big business, and collect from the above. If part A above is any measure, you guys should start getting much better service. Cheeto's FCC increased the USF fees by double, from about 16% to about 33%. So don't forget to thank him.
