I bought a Hawkeoiler 2 weeks ago and still have not gotten it. Stay tuned.

How many miles on your chain and what condition is it in?

Don't worry about the 0.536mA, that is from the clock and my bike and another I have looked at come in at about that. If you pull the fuse that has the clock on it you will see that leakage go away. .

For starters you could lower the ratio of water and coolant. Water alone is a better coolant than water and coolant. I run a 20/80 mix.

I was riding Mt. Palomar yesterday and on the way up saw a silver bird (read that slower bird) parked on the side. As I went by I thought I saw a disk lock or something strange on the front rotor. A the top the owner (Brad) came up to me and told me his tale of woes. He had the front fender replaced and while they were at it he got new tires thrown on as well. Anywho the LBS Pivot bolt fell out on his as well but we concluded that the cause was most likely minimum wage mechanics at the shop he took it to. He had zip tied the calliper away from the rotor and tried to ride it to the top but the LBS system caused the rear brake to clamp down and he couldn't continue. Glad you were able to make it home successfully Hobi.

New front tire and new steering head bearings and that will go away.

I see a big problem with dirt and crap corroding the threads and making it a bitch to get the pins out. Ride on one wet road and I'll bet you'll have crap in there. The right size rubber plug might offer a solution if it could tolerate the temperatures generated by the braking system.

I will testify. I have to go to school before June 1. My first ticket in the last 13 years. Two other riders here where I work also have tickets. If you still have the stock bt57's on a '97 still on I would advise you to get rid of them ASAP. Do not try testing your lateral acceleration skills on tires that old, they are no good.

Instead of a freezer drop your bearings in some liquid nitrogen, that should shrink them enough to drop them in.
