Big Jeff Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 I tried to get my map out of my Power Commander. No Dice ! It said "Incompatible file and power commander version " . It was the latest software that Dynojet gives out. I have a feeling it's something to do with the Dyno shop and keeping you from doing what I am trying to do. Give it out to my friends. I guess my next try will be to see if the software that came with my PC is different than the software that's on the DynoJet site. Quote

(usb or serial) p.s. i had a dynojet shop dynotune mine as well and nothing was 'locked' Quote

XX Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 sounds like the hardware is matched with the bike. i'd bet that the software is not matched with the hardware (like you said above). are there any old versions of the software available on their website? They list the following version for the pc2: Current Version - 2.7.8.22 (5/24/2003) and the version for the pc3 usb: Current Version - 3.0.2.15 (8/22/2003) or maybe a list member could zip and email you theirs? aside from that i'm tapped on advice, mainly cuz i don't got that version. Maybe there were still some files F ing me up. I'm going to try the Original software on a laptop that has never had the software on it. Cross your fingers. Quote

This was a bit ago so don't remember for certain but I think I was able to retrieve data page by page. Once I installed a downloaded map it never said that again but I know that would defeat what your trying to do You'll probably have to contact dynojet, and I am gonna guess that the answer wont be a good one.
