She's gone.
Buyer rented a pickup and drove to Texas from Virginia. Had no ramp, no tiedowns. I rolled the lift out to the driveway, raised the bike to the level of the bed, and we wheeled here in. Had a couple of tiedowns I could let him have and directed him to the nearby Harbor Freight to get some more. He had a bird a while ago, and is getting back to his old ways after a divorce. Nice guy, but still going through the "I'm free!" phase.
I threw in all the spares I had. Plastics, switches, filters, a Micron exhaust system. Not going to bother selling that after this ordeal. I really thought that someone here would have gotten the bike to a friend, but that did not happen.
Last word: Throw your leg over something more current. You'll be shocked. After getting my Aprilia Tuono and KTM Super Duke, the Blackbird was unrideable.
Best to all.
