  1. I jett'd the '98 to get rid of the flat spot - I hated it. Crack it open, and it'd take off, pause for a moment and almost throw me forward, and then take off like a bat out of hell again. After jetting it with the factory pipes its as smooth as can be from 0 to redline. Its a nice, constant pull with no flat spots. Thats the reason I jett'd mine... Same thing for the Magna, and VFR.
  2. I have not xfered any albums yet, and there is no script written to do so. So, that means i'll have to custom write something to do it. That'll take some time, and wont happen this week for sure. However, I will be making the album accessible to everyone later this weekend so you can at least have access to all your pics.
  3. Yep, it has already been noted in the 'Forum Announcement' section of the site. Searches will be down for another day or two while we diagnose some issues we are having.
  4. No, I just need to fix something on it. I'll get it done today. Unfort everytime the main board goes down, everything else gets out of sync and I have to sync it back up. In an ideal world it'd be automated, but I haven't had the board stable enough to start working on that type of feature yet. .. it'll be fixed this evening, and thanks for NOT using ImageShack
  5. Just about any synth blend is fine, thats what I run. Not -that- big of a deal, but each person finds an oil they like. I've noticed a reduced clunk with the 50/50 synthetic blend, and I've had no trouble with it for a few changes now. Don't fix it if it aint broke!
  6. I dont see any backlogged emails or anything waiting to be delivered. Lets wait til the server xfer tonight to see if that resolves it.
  7. Very nice! I'll make sure to add it to our upcomming how-to section.
  8. Interesting, I should download them all and archive them. I -HATE- trying to find a simple diagram on the net when I know there are service manuals floating around. Lets see if we cant mirror a few...
  9. Wow, ya sure let him off easy. I would have made damm sure to get every single nickle and dime out of him, and make sure his worthless ass wasnt back on the road without insurance and a license. I can't believe they didnt haul his ass off to jail..
  10. .. why not just get a nice set of in ear headphones?
  11. +1. Rubber is cheap in comparison to medical, plastics, etc...
  12. Funny, it took the dent out out of my tank. Was about the same size as the one pictured in the eBay ad. In fact, in almost the same place. Bought the kit for $9.99 and did it 4-5 times before it finally came all the way out. Each time it improved slightly. Now is it 100% perfect, no. But its so minor you really have to be looking for it and be in the right light. As for paintless dent removal they go behind the panel and then pop it forward, but since gas tanks have an inner and outer shell, I dont know how they would get between them - unless you can get between the shells by removing the gas filler lid. Somehow I doubt that though.
  13. .. those "Pops a dent" kits for $9.99 you can get at Autozone work fairly well, it took out the small dent my tank had when I bought it. Whats with looking for a tank, nose piece, and the other farkles? Did ya lay it down?
  14. I'll be in the Tucson area until the 17th, so if you need a hand let me know. PM me for my cell number. After that, I'll be back in Phoenix. Let me know if you need a hand. I'd lend you mine, but I've got a 97.
  15. Wait, you use the choke when its cold? So like below 80?
  16. Did the same thing when rejetting the bike. Some superglue and a tiny dab of plastic epoxy works really well as a fix. But alas, I was anal and ordered a new cable...
  17. Is it still doing it after the update?
  18. I can vouch for how much fun brake fluid on a rear tire is!
  19. Bleh - someone else reported this problem as well and I have not had a chance to look in to it. I can tell already its going to be a DB issue which means downing the board to resolve most likely. .... does it do it on some posts and not others, or is it on every single post? If you can link me to threads it does it on and thread it does not do it on that would help me diagnose it much easier.
