  1. With the key on, ground the wire. If the indicator comes on, the neutral switch is bad. yea somthings not right. ill have to try that it seems to work intermitidly. it worked there on saturday for a while then i took it out today, worked when i turned it one and 2 km later nothing. i think there is somthing not so good in the ECU to be honest. i had some issues with it before though nothing seems to be out of the ordinary..
  2. still nothing. this is pretty strange.
  3. so i turned my bike on today after not touching it for a month and the wouldn't go to neutral. well it was in neutral but the N light wouldnt turn on. and now the bike will not idol with the stand down. anyone know why this could happen? fuse or censor problem maybe? anyone have this issue before?
  4. yea thanx alot, what im gunna do is get as many lines as possable stainless braided, so i wanted to get a good idea of lengths. originally i wanted to collect all the parts and do it at once but i think im gunna wait for winter again before i do a tear down.
  5. i was wondering if anybody knows the exact length of a 99 XX hydrolic clutch line? i want to get a stainless braided one and need to know the length.
  6. yea ive bee talking to a few ppl about it. ill check it our for sure.
  7. yea i have heard of 954 and stuff havint that done but i know there is alot more to it. and like anything with all the time and money it might actually be close to the same amount as simply buying the overpriced kit. if it is still around. although that is ALOT of money..
  8. i remeber blackbird spares had a company link outta japan that had dircect bolt on invert fork. does anyone have this link or know of any other companies?
  9. on my 99 the fitting is ridiculous, everytime i put the airbox together i prey i got it right/ or it didnt move lol
  10. i live in Richmond hill. (toronto) with my mom dad and bro................ hahah the rest of my family lives in downtown london. i wanted to ride there this year but never got around to it. you guys have a great city.
  11. yea im gunna hav to now i was under the impression that they didnt make em for the XX. i know a few rather tallented ppl were able to do some wild retrofitment. see i need a tire as wide as possable well within reason. 6.25-6.5 is ideal. i have about a half inch wider arm with the strech and am really shooting for a 210 metzler me 880 but until latley i was shit outta luck. im definatly gunna check with PM though.
  12. really? well i know they do but i dont think they make one for the blackbird. see i was talking to track dynamics about a wide tire kit and they said we make one for the XX but your screwed for the front cuz pm doesnt have a rim for the xx. so you have a fat tire kit with a dub back and stock front LOL.
  13. yea thats what i got gor my bike. it is really nice.
  14. next season, this season 50% of the time the bike was all apart, it was really under changes. next year im gunna dyno it too. i had no time this year in between work and school. but yea.....so are there any other rims that you guys know of? im trying to just shop around for the time being find out what kinda cash im looking at.
  15. yea that is true. this arm of mine however was built with massive chunks of almn welded inside for strength, as well as on the inner part of the arm there are trianle supports. you are right though the further out the weaker. though so far the arm has been good. i have a big honking shock/ spring, and i usuall (until recently lol) ride my ex g/f on it. she was around 100 lbs. nothing ever happened. so i think the arm is strong enough. with that being said the welder claimed it was good for around 300 HP on the rear wheel. if i really wantedd more i could go to trac dynamics and order a lower brace and weld it on. that thought has occcured. all in all though the setup is pretty solid and the shock/spring dampens it a bit.
