jimmystartup
My rear tire has a nasty flat spot but the front is cherry. Anyone used a Sport-front/Road-rear combo or know of people who have? Does it work?
TBS150
I just put a Pilot Sport HPX in the back. They did not have the front so I paired with a Metzeler MEZ3 that I had. Great pair. I do not know how long I will do on the Pilot but it is a really good tires. I feel a lot lighter now. I know that many people would not mix tires but I have allways done that. I just make sure I mix similar profile and quality. A friend of mine did over 10,000 miles on a front Pilot Sport on a 929 RR.

BIG BOY
How about a sportec M-1 up front and an MEZ4 on the rear????? That was going to be my next choice.
pdxxx
I have Pilot Sport in front and Pilot Road in the back and can report that it feels fine. Haven't ridden it enough to report on wear differences though.
Redbird
How about a sportec M-1 up front and an MEZ4 on the rear????? I ran that combo for awhile last year, worked fine, though I can't say I cared for the MEZ4 much, and the milage on it wasn't that great at 5K down to the wear bars . John01XX
I currently have a Pilot Sport on front and Road on the Back. It is almost time to replace the sport front but has over 8000 miles on it. Works well with the Road rear. I am doing the same again.
