SwampNut
Can anyone with totally stock suspension (including stock-height fork tubes) tell me the distance between the ground and your rear tire when the bike is on the centerstand? Also let me know how much wear on your rear tire, since near-new is very different from fully worn.
jrdxx
I measure 1-1/8". Tires are Pilot Sports, the front shows negligible wear, but the rear is almost to the wear bars in the center of the tire. My guess is new Sports would set the bike at 3/4" to 7/8".
SwampNut
Thanks! Working on shimming the rear and trying to have a baseline to work from.

BIG BOY
Carlos, i don't know if this would help, but i got measurements from a stock XX on the sales floor and from ground to nose is 27" (underneath), and from ground to the bottom of the tail piece above the top of the tail light is 30.5" (i think that's where i measured)??????? Shit, now i can't remember where i took the rear measurement from!!!
SwampNut
Hmm, that could help too. Hadn't measured body height.
jrdxx
That's a good idea. I think the axle centers might be better datum points.
