matey_peeps
thanks joe...was wondering why the beam cast was hella high.
XX RATED
NO - Low beam on bottom - High beam on top! If your light pattern is a bit high - it may need to be adjusted with the knobs on the back of the light housing.
XX RATED
Joe - don't tell me you got your plugs mixed up ???
Chester
High beam on the bottom Chad
CBRXX
Yea...what most of the others said. Low beam is upper bulb. Also, if you need to adjust, the upper knob adjusts vertically. Turn clockwise to raise the beam. Steve
Northman
High beam is definitely the lower bulb, and low beam is the top. The harness for the low beam is shorter than the high beam, so it makes it easier for plug-in, also.
Hookman49
High beam on bottom, Low on top!
XX RATED
Holy Headlights - Batman! You guys tellin' me I've been Back asswards all this time? Joe - I apologize for being sacastic - you know how I am. Matey - I change my answer to: D) Hookers! Damn - I even looked in the service manual, no mention of which is which. My headlight has benn reversed form day one, when I got it. Never thought anything about it. Well I will say this - I have adjusted the headlight to what I believe is optimum light casting for the way the bike sits; I have the bottom light as the low beam & in the top I have installed a 100w bulb. I tell you the thing works great - I'm kinda wondering if I should change it back......... :?:
spEEdfrEEk
You guys are screwed! Low beam on the left, high beam backwards -> facing the rider  TJ
Hookman49
I have the bottom light as the low beam & in the top I have installed a 100w bulb. I installed a 100w bulb in my high beam also and melted the bulb socket. Just picked up a new on that the dealer an hour ago. The guy there stated he did the same thing in his CBR600 and it fried a bunch of stuff and cost him $400 bucks to fix. I will stick with the lower wattage bulbs till I can find something better. HID, hum really like Joe's. Ken
Warchild
Youse guys are scaring me! When you get your hi-beam/lo-beam figured out, here's how to adjust your lights: http://www.superblackbird.com/light_aim.cfm

Mikey
What's the highest safe wattage for the lights up front? Hate to melt.
G2
My advice is to get the Philips Vision Plus bulb set. Same wattage so no worries and a much whiter light. Probably the best under $40 mod you can do. G2
