  1. What shop was it here in Vegas?
  2. I just finished doing the trucking show, and XM was there with a booth. I was talking to one of the reps about weak reception on the bikes. He said people with fiberglass or plastic bodies all have a "small" problem. What they have been doing is putting a piece of sheetmetal on the back side of the body panel below the antenna. This will give you a bigger area for reception. He say's even a small piece (like under the inside of our tail section) could make a big difference. Don't know if this will really help, but might be worth a shot.
  3. I have the Microns, black to silver fade. I think they look good and sound great. So far no problems regarding qulity, fit or finish, even after having them on for over 25,000 miles.
  4. The chain could also be the problem. Spin the wheel and see if there is a real tight and loose spot in the chain. If there is, it could cause the bike to surge.
  5. Far as running in the rain(if you ment it was actually raining), you should run them at max pressure. The more air in the tire, the more of a "V" it makes. And you want to "cut" throught the water as aposed to riding on top. (Hydroplaining)
  6. You could use a spray bottle. Unscrew the top and use the spray part for a bleeder. Use a small rubber line from your bleeder to the tube attached to the spray trigger and pump away. It works great and will cost about a buck for the spray bottle, or you might just have one around your house. Works like a charm.
  7. They say in thier R-D of this tire, that the front cleared a path that the rear followed. They found that having a tread in the middle of the rear just wasn't needed. It makes perfect sence, but why hasn't any other tire company done this :???: ? We will see. In any case, I think this tire will be my next set.
  8. A while back I went ahead and hinged my plate and then used velcro to hold it up. I did this so I didn't have to move the key lock for the seat. I also didn't want to put a hole in the plate (just to simple for me). Like some of you said, the velcro stoped holding the plate up. Everytime I hit a bump, it would fall. So I went down to my local junk yard and picked me up a hinged, sringloaded licence plate holder off some old American car. The kind where you used to to pull down the plate to get to the gas cap. It only took about an hour till I found one small enough that I could use. The spring is plenty srong too. While pulled back, if you let it go and your finger is in the way, it will hurt. I used the same two bolts that were holding the bracket on the car, to hold it on the bike. Just punched two holes in whats left of my fender and attached the bracket. I did all this a couple of months ago, just getting to the pics now. My BLING BLING. Plenty of room for the key when pulled down As you can see, it doesn't take up much room.
  9. Ever since I put the clear fronts on, I'v been looking for a led front bulb. Those are the 1157.These seem to be a BIT pricey, but it is exactly what I'm looking for. For the rear, I have the clear lens with the single 2 or 3 inch led in it.
  10. I've been looking for 1157 led bulbs. Thought these were pretty cool cause they come in different colors. http://www.signaldynamics.com/products/bulbs/1157.asp
  11. They come with the hole for the stopper. Just pull off the stockers and put it on the slip on. Peace of cake.
  12. Looks awsome Carlos. Love the new shitter.
  13. I always seem to forget. I need to know the torque for the drive sprocket and for the five rear sprocket nuts. I'm putting the chain on now....so anybody?
