Not sure how it happened but i was going down the freeway and hit a bump that must of been bad enough to force the tire into the fender breaking the mounting tabs sending it over the upper fairing and exiting stage right. Didnt really think it was worth going back for so I kept going. Peepa Posted August 24, 2013 Author Share Posted August 24, 2013 With have 65k miles on her she has seen some wear but besides some clear coat damage the fender was solid. The problem I think was because of the tires I am now running. They have a taller profile then your average street tire. It wasnt a problem on the gixxer 1k because of its little fender but I dont think the XX liked it very much. Loki let me know as soon as you can.
