KA
It's time to give a plug to Yuasa. The one that came with the bird lasted 9 years. I got cheap and replaced it with an American battery made in China. 2 years later it went south and I replaced it with a Yuasa. The Yuasa lasted 2 months. I contact the vendor. Motorcycle Superstore. They didn't even want to give a RM# and stated that they would probably return the battery in 2-3 months. They blamed the bike for the failure. I called Yuasa and explained my problem with their vendor. They didn't hesitate and just sent me a new fully charged battery. I wish they made car batteries too. Great company and batteries. They are also American made.
XXitanium
Man, That name sounds oriental. http://www.yuasabatteries.com/about.php I've personally had crummy luck with Yuasa. I have to admit that I never tried contacting the mother-ship though. Thanks for the tip.
XXitanium
....and to be fair, I think Hondas charge hot. But then again, maybe it's my riding habits: Amps go up with RPMs. None of the important ones are listed in their calcs.
