MacBirdXX
anyone know who makes an exhaust hanger for the bird? (I'll definitely check with beezer on the IRXXA site in the UK). Thanks! :?:
Northman
You mean like a replacement for the passenger peg hanger?

Redbird
Left passenger peg could be removed when fitting a 4-1 system, I think he wants to replace the right passenger peg with a plain exhaust hanger.
mickcbr1100
Haven't got a clue sorry  you'd have to look at other bikes that do have hangers made for them to see if you could make one fit. Mick aka Bezzer
Mechanic
It's not difficult ot make your own. Use stiff cardboard to make a template. Get some 1/8" - 3/16" Al Alloy sheet, and copy your template - Voila It can all be done with a handrill, hacksaw, vice, file, mothers, and the will. Extra tip: Cover the Ally with a couple of layers of masking tape before cutting and bending the metal. Polishing is much easier and the results better without scratches. MacBirdXX
Hey mechanic, since you're so close to me (I'm in Vancouver too), want to have a go for me? Not my cup of tea
Mechanic
Hey mechanic, since you're so close to me (I'm in Vancouver too), want to have a go for me? Â .... It's a possibility. Having seen the pictures of your steed I would suggest another alternative. Pick up a RH passenger hanger on eBay (about $25 with postage) Remove the peg. Saw off the lugs. File to blend and polish. Really very easy, and would look the dogs bollocks. You can get almost anything you need on ebay if you're patient - from my experience you should be able to score that part within a month. Mechanic
Well, what do you know…. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=10460 Item # 245642660
MacBirdXX
never done the 'ebay thing', but should start as it would save me some bucks. If I wasn't being such a goof about the weight of my bike, I'd go for it, but there must be something out there. You've got a great idea and will probably follow your advice in the end. Thanks!
