Fuck it! time to sell everything

Recommended Posts

I'm in a real rut.

Lost my Dad 5 weeks ago.The family vultures are lawyering up as i type to contest the minuscule estate.

My mothers just about to have to go into a home because of her Alzheimer's and especially thanks to the ongoing economic crunch and the latest nail in the coffin.... Campbell and the fucking liberal's tax grab (it's called the HST) my renovation business is on life support.

Since the HST came in to effect in July (12.5% tax on renovation materials and labor) i have only received one fucking phone call since August 2nd.I own a registered and fully OSHA /licensed/LTD company but that's soon to be no more.

As a person who never worked under the table, always paid the taxes, compo fees, gets permits and only does things by the book I'm officially a dinosaur.

The whole fucking industry has gone underground (One year ago i had 5 employees, now zip, nada i had to layoff my last employee last week)

Time to sell off my toys and go and get blind fucking drunk for the first time in 17 years.

Make an offer on all or any of it.It's all listed locally so it may be sold there first.

Bear in mind I'm in Canada.I have no idea what you will have to do to bring it into the states.I'll help in any way i can with shipping packing etc.

2008 ZX14

No pic yet.I sold my camera and will have to borrow one.

I bought it new last year, Midnight blue, totally stock only.900 kilometers. That's right 600 miles. Not even had it's first service,I've changed the oil and filter once at 250 miles since i got it.

2001 SV650 race bike

No registration, bill of sale only.It was built from a insurance write off and cannot be street registered.

motor wise it's basically stock, except for jetting, K&N filter and the air box mod.Mid life racing RC51 race glass(has been repaired) GPR damper, braided lines,07 GSXR front end,08 GSXR rear rim,520 vortex chain conversion, fox twin clicker rear shock.runs strong and is not beat to shit.could use a new exhaust as i currently have a home made shortened Ducati can on it to make it through our tracks decibel limits.

This is exactly hope it looks currently.

Wow. Sorry for the loss of your Dad. The pain is doubled watching the siblings fight over scraps like alley dogs - I've seen it before.

I wish there was something I could say or do. Size 12 boots are too big for me.

I hope things improve for you, the folks "up there", and here as well.

Sorry about your mother and father.

12.5% tax on renovation materials and labor, is that on top of all the other taxes in Canada? Socialism at it's finest.

Fucking ever increasing in numbers government employees have never had to worry about the next customer needed to keep the business rolling, they need to be put out to pasture.

Hang in there-there's a point where things can only get better and it sounds like you are there.

I feel for the legitimate people in your line of work. Here in the Wichita, KS, the so called air capitol of the world, we have had massive layoffs in the aircraft industry(Cessna, Beech, Learjet, and Boeing) since the economy has taken a dump.

Unfortunatly for the honest people in your type of business, there have been a lot of laid off aircraft workers underbidding jobs and working on a cash basis. They even had a segment on the local news telling the story.

Thanks for all the condolences. It's been a tough year. One things for sure i will never again be the executor of an estate.
