lensmanxx
I took the SV out just now to see how much of a difference the new springs, gold valve, etc., from Traxxion Dynamics made. Bottom line? Quite a difference. The front tire no longer threatens to break loose. On stopping, especially emergency stops, the bike's tendency to lean over is mostly gone and no dive. The ride is a litte stiffer, but that's to be expected. Turning, of course required less input, but it's not dramatic. Suzuki could have done this for very little, with the result being a much better handling bike. I didn't notice anything wrong with the rear shock setup in conjunction with the rebuit forks. Highly recommended.
brianmacza
Is this Dave's next SV farkel?
lensmanxx
I posted this on STN, and found another rider made the same observation about the rear shock, that it's not that bad. There's also a link on my thread there to a great article on how the whole thing works.
