blackhawkxx
I never liked just using a floor jack when taking the front wheel off because it doesn't seem too stable when shaking the bike around. I have a steel beam running across the center of my garage ceiling (but you could put in large eye hooks) and I used my Canyon Dancer (used for trailering) plus two ratchet straps to tie the bike to the ceiling. Put the bike ahead of the beam, put your Canyon Dancer on, use your straps from the dancer to the beam and crank them up. I still put the jack under it. You can shake the bike as much as you want and it is really stable. I used it tonight for changing the fork oil. BTW-the right fork oil looked about like the new oil (red), the left leg oil looked like motor oil (dark, not red). The bike has never been to the dealer so Honda must have did this. Odd.
