Keith
I have the original set of wheels from my '03 sitting around the garage and I'd like to get rid of them. I purchased a set of silver wheels from a guy on Ebay to replace the black OEMs (I like the look of the silver wheels on the black XX better). The OEMs have a set of Pilot Roads on them with maybe 1000 miles left in them. The wheels had about 30,000 miles on them when I took them off, so the wheel bearings are probably in OK condition. They have the usual scratches that you get from removing/reinstalling the wheels for tire changes, but are otherwise in perfect condition, i.e. not dents, cracks, or other blemishes. I'm not interested in shipping these things; they weigh a ton with the tires on them and boxing them up would be a PITA. So, I'd only be interested if someone more or less local wanted them. Say Stockton to Sacramento to the motherlode foothills of CA. We could arrange a place to meet in between. I'm down in Folsom at work Monday-Thursday, so could deliver in the Sacramento area. NOTE: they do NOT have the disk rotors on them; those were transferred to the silver wheels. The rear wheel does NOT have the rubber thingys in it nor does it have the sprocket or sprocket carrier; they were transferred, too. I'd like to get what I paid for the silver wheels, which was $50/each. Or make me an offer. LMK.
RXX
OK, so you are not interested in packing them up and all that? I live in zip 37801. Bring them to a pak & ship and I think they can just slap labels on them and ship them. If not, they will box them up for a small fee, I'll pay. 50 bucks plus s/h each is reasonable. If you do not get any other offers.......
Keith
No, I'm not interested in packing them, but I'll think about it. I don't believe just slapping a shipping label on them is a good idea, unless you want a lot more scratches and maybe a few dents in them. I doubt UPS/FedEx/USPS are going to be all that careful with them. So, they would need to be individually boxed or in the same box with a lot of padding around them. Anyway, if no one local pipes up, I'll consider it; are you sure you're willing to pay all of the shipping costs? The silver wheels cost me $100 in shipping, and that was without tires... That was from Canada, so maybe inter-USA would be cheaper.
