01xxallen
Just like mine. Best bang for the buck there is. (Unless you want to be a motocross star.)
blackmax
I just grabbed an 02' today for .................$200 frickin bucks!!!!!!!! with 5412 miles. It was a Craigslist find previous owner left it at his parents house when he "went away for a while" parents sold it to a friend who sold it to me, he just wanted it out of the yard. Steering head bearings are shot, needs tires, battery, ignition switch and gas cap. I need another project like I need another wife but it was just too good to pass up. TOXXIC
Needing an ignition switch it sounds stolen!
blackmax
That's what I originally thought but the papaerwork is all legit. Keys were lost during a move or the previous owners relocation to the "Greystone Hotel"
JuXXtin
New lower price.... $2,
DaveK
Going to visit my dad on the 14th (Bluffton) for the week. Looking into a pickup truck rental now. Unfortunately....looks as if no one offers unlimited mileage. Still looking.
01xxallen
Same year as mine. It would break my heart to sell mine for $2500. Looks like you changed the handguards, and relocated the license plate. Other than that, stock?
blackmax
If you've got a capable vehicle get a small U-haul trailer or a hitch mounted bike carrier.
DaveK
If you've got a capable vehicle get a small U-haul trailer or a hitch mounted bike carrier. Unfortunately I don't have a vehicle with a hitch or a trailer capable vehicle. Just called Enterprise Rent A Car and to rent a small pick up with unlimited mileage would run me $412.50. Unfortunately that puts this purchase at $2912.50. Too much for me. If by any chance you come down to $2000 by the 12th of August....let me know. I will take it. OR....come down to $1800 and I will throw in a MINTY 2004 CRF 70F. You could prolly sell the 70 for $800 or $900 and I will rent the Enterprise truck. JuXXtin
If by any chance you come down to $2000 by the 12th of August....let me know. I will take it. Dave, Is a bit low for me at the moment, but I will keep that in mind. If your 70 was a 03+ KX100, we could talk trades. Looks like you changed the handguards, and relocated the license plate. Other than that, stock? Here are some more details on it for ya... and others of course since you already have one Upgrades/changes: Aluminum handgaurds with shields. Dual-star rear brake lever upgrade w/protector. 12V DC plug in on dash. Battery Tender lead installed. Larger footpeg bolts. Blind spot mirrors. K&N air filter. Mesh headlight protector. Gel handgrips. Front steel braided brake line. 14T front sprocket (15T stock is included). Kickstand starter switch deleted. Stainless steel allen bolt engine/carb/controls kit installed. Silver Star H4 bulb. Maintenance: New o-ring chain, ~5 miles. Fresh oil/filter (Rotello/Kawi). Fresh Air Filter cleaning. 50/50 Tires, ~1,800 miles on them. Brakes pads plenty of life. I have not checked the valves. Previous owner said Doo-Hickey was upgraded, but I have not checked to confirm. Other: Left seat installation nut is stripped, second good nut added. Front tube has 'slime' installed, recommend new tube at next tire change. Starts and runs fantastic. 50+mpg as it should. I would not hesitate to ride anywhere in the country on this bike right now. And a few more pictures:
