There is no road in Vietnam that you can run with speed over 190 km/h anyway... :-) (there are probably only a few that you can run 100km/h in the whole country for more than a few seconds...) rockmeupto125 Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 I've run it without the dash, but the speedo sensor hooks directly into the ECU as well as the speedo (pink wire). If all that fails, I'd say go ahead and pull the speedo sensor, or at least back it out until it doesn't read well, and leave it connected. I can't imagine it not running with it disconnected.....it seems odd they'd wire the ECU to disable the bike if the speedo sensor was defective.
