ROXX Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 I posted here about the 99 BBXX with 3700 original miles I bought earlier this week for $2900, and the electrical issues as well. I have to say, the advice I got on this forum was great and even though my understanding of "all things electrical" is miniscule at best, I wasn't flamed or lampooned. The best part was I pm'd a forum member (mikesail) and he came over, twice, and spent three hours here today fixing the issue while educating me on "all things electrical". For anyone interested, Mike found a broken stator wire (inside the cover, long story) and soldered that puppy up and now the bike runs great! Bottom line, great Forum, Great Members! Thanks.
