Redbird
2006 Kawasaki ZX-14 14,6XX miles The good- 1) Speigler braided clutch and brake lines, black w/red fittings 2) Two Brothers C5 slip-on. Mid pipes ceramic coated black, emblems removed and gold anodized end caps blacked out. 3) Secondary butterflies removed (I've still got them if you want to put them back in so your daughter can ride it) 4) PCIII USB, no custom map, just standard "flies out, slip-ons" map from Dynojet's website 5) Rims powder coated satin black (none of that ugly OEM brown crap) 6) Hard wired for Battery Tender, heated vest (SAE connector, versatile)) Garmin GPSMap, XM radio and Escort 8500/9500 radar detector. This is all through a marine grade auxuliry fuse panel, fused power to battery and individual fuses for each item, everything soldered, shrink wrapped and in loom. Harness was not cut or compromised in any way for this installation. Actual electronics not included. 7) Mounts for above electronics. A reservoir mount on either side and a home fabbed mount for the XM. 8) SW Motech quick release side racks for Givi Monokey cases 9) Set of Givi E36 side cases, used once, practically new. 10) Set of Givi E21 side cases, well used and a little rough, but fully functional. 11) Throttlemeister bar ends, black, heavy. 12) Fork lowers enamaled black (again, getting rid of that Kawi brown shit) 13) Various bits powder coated black, including heel guards and pegs, rear master cylinder and a few other things I can't remember right now. 14) Corbin saddle, custom made 3/4" higher than stock (rather than the standard 3/4" lower) for more leg room. 15) Laminar LIP, touring model, clear. This is nice, easy on and off and raises the wind a good 4-5" 16) Red anodized bolt kit on motor, fairings, gas cap, windscreen. Red anodized adjuster blocks, reservoir caps, oil fill cap. This could be a plus or minus depending on whether you like red and black. I'll also admit that some of the pieces look redder than others, leaving the lighter ones looking, well...a little pink. This has bugged me for awhile and if I kept the bike i'd probably replace a fair amount of the red crap with black. Just shooting for complete disclosure here. The bad- 1) See #16 above 2) The bike rolled off the kickstand in a parking lot. Result was a scuffed lower and mid fairing and a pretty good scuff on the bottom of the mirror. Mid fairing was replaced with new OEM, lower fairing was left as it's not a painted piece in the '06 and the damage was quite minor. Left mirror still bears the scar but it's barely visible unless you look at it from underneath. I'll get pics of all this up soon. 3) The paint on the front endcaps of the cans is a little chipped from my boots rubbing on them. I was going to check into powder coating these, but got distracted this winter. I can still do so if the buyer so desires, my cost. $8,500 obo for everything above and a full tank of gas. $7,000 obo for the bike returned as close to stock as I can get it. That would mainly mean no Corbin, luggage, slip-ons, PCIIIusb, Throttlemeisters, reservoir mounts, maybe brakes lines if I've still got the OEM ones laying around...we'd discuss this and exactly what you'd get before I touched the bike. This option would require some time for me to source some OEM bits like cans and a seat. Or...anything in between. I'm willing to negotiate deals with or without the luggage, seat, Laminar, ect. I've also got a Garmin GPSmap (color) and an Escort 9500i that I might let go with the bike for some extra $ Pics are from last year. I'll take the bike out and get some fresh ones soon. Redbird
Those bags are.......sexy. No matter what you do, hard bags on a sport bike look like ass, so why try? Those carry lots of crap and I'd never worry about scuffing a $400 paint job on a hotel room door jamb. Rich, thanks for the offer. We'll see if I'm even able to sell this thing. It is OBO and listed other places than here, but I haven't even had a nibble.

RichardCranium
Its not about need. Just imagine at the moment of truth being able to look over at your other baby and give her a knowing wink. Besides having a 140-180hp sportbike in your room allows you to completely redefine smoking afterward. I thought you always backed the bike up to the room...... Christ, I just have sex on the bed...
