willxx23
So I install that real nice Galfer brake and clutch line kit for the XX about a year ago but now I notice the friggin banjo bolts are starting to get that rusty finish to them... I know I'm not super anal about most things but I can't live with rust anymore now that I live in So Kali. Anyone have a source for a suitable replacement for the banjo bolts?? All I need is some that will stay nice and shiny like the stainless fitting's they are attached to...
Redbird
They're 10 x 1.25, pretty standard bolt for motorcycles. If you really can't find anything, drop me a note, I think I have some kicking around here somewhere.
willxx23
Thanks for the offer Tim, I think this might be what I need: http://www.cms-motorcycle-parts.com/stainl...-bolts-69-p.asp Stainless shouldn't rust right???
TuffguyF4i
Stainless can rust. It depends on the grade of stainless. Lower the carbon, less likely to rust.
X1rider
StainLESS, not StainPROOF as I had a marine technician tell me.
