XXitanium
2000 Ti - salvage title - about 1-2/3 hours from my house..... http://cgi.ebay.com/Honda-CBR-2000-HONDA-C...1QQcmdZViewItem Go ahead and bid - I can't. I have to think of the kids (and my gonads - what's left of them) $4K - The etxt says "No reserve" ?
Fonzie
Maybe I'm all wet, but isn't that a bit high for an 8 year old bike with 24,000 miles, and more importantly.....a salvage title??
ironmike
Yeah... It's a dealership, and they squeezed someone out of $4,156 for a salvage titled Bird with broken and rashed plastic... go figure...
XXitanium
Part of the problem is that I've watched black models go by for less money. The Ti's have seemed to go for a bit more for some reason. I've fixed plastic before I've also done paint. (Although I hear Ti is hard to shoot or match once it's shot...) .....I ASSUMED that the bird was totalled on plastic alone. That shit is expensive. There was a set of Ti listed here with huge gouges in the front cowl. the asking price was still $700 plus. Could by all means have been a bad assumption. Am I disillusioned on this? Redbird
The salvage title drastically reduces the value no matter the year or color. The selling price would be an okay deal for that bike without the title issue. I personally still would have hesitated with the repair it needed.
