trick to loosening socket head allen bolts to raise clip-ons?

I'm ordering a replacement bolt off Ron Ayers first. When it comes in I'll replace the stripped one. I'm not that worried about it though.....just the hex head is stripped. The bolt itself is tight and doesn't move at all.

2001 and up, I'm pretty sure, for the VFR bars.

53100 and 53150 -MCW-D00 are the left and right bars.

Lord, man, save yourself some money. That bolt can't be less than $8 by the time you order it and have it shipped. Your local hardware store will have 8x35 metric hex head screws for 1-2 bucks in stainless.

Thanks...yeah I have the part #s for the bars.....may just get genmar risers since they're less $$ and easier install.

I'll check out hardware store for the bolts......good idea. be $12 from RonAyers.
