runner
Many more of these days and I may install the giant hand mitts over the grips and levers. Fortunately it was a short ride to work today (12 miles one-way). I am actually glad I have the stock bars to allow tucking in better out of the windblast. Tonights low of 20 should be better... beondwacko
Better you than me! I have having trouble this morning walking in 36 degree weather!
slowrideCX
I pussed out today and took the cage it was 8 degrees. BUUURRRR :icon_shifty: I am waiting the man says that next week will be in the upper 50's to mid 60's so I will be riding again. I don't have any heated grips or gear so my low temp limit is about 20 degrees. It is no fun if it is any colder than that.
Pete in PA
Jeez! the older I get the higher my "low" temp gets. I don't ride below 40F. Since we had an early ice storm and the roads have been salted the bikes are in the basement till Spring.
jon haney
If your going to ride a sport-bike (or any bike for that matter) when it's 11 degrees outside, I'd suggest wearing something a little warmer............ LIKE A STRAIGHT JACKET!!!!
OrganDonor
No winter riding for me once there's a fair amount of sand on the road.
Emillard
Jeez! the older I get the higher my "low" temp gets. I don't ride below 40F. You and me both. I don't commute on the bike, so riding is for pleasure only. That being said, I like to stretch the bikes legs out a bit when I ride. I don't like getting geared up for a 15 mile loop. So 50F is usually my limit. It just ain't fun below that and my tires slide all over the place.
