silverbird1100 Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I have 2 alternators for 99' and up XX's one about 25% (6000 miles) done and one 30% (8000). I was experimenting with a charging problem and have them left over. $50 each shipped would make a good spare if you needed one right away. I know the stator COVER is slighty different because I tried a replace my original leaking (02') with a 98 cover and the stator mounted up fine but made a stange sound when cranking it so I just bought a new one for an 02" The 3P plug (I think it's called that) would have to be re-wired too.
