rockmeupto125
I've never switched the gauge pack between a carbed and a fuelie bike. On the carbed, a warning light indicates the sidestand is down. On the fuelie, it gives a warning for an FI fault. The cover plate is different between the years to reflect this. But......is the circuitry and hookup the same? I always presumed it was, but have never verified that. Has anyone here done so?
cbrxxquad
As I have said before, my 2000 wiring matched the dig guage loom with the exception of one wire extra on the bike side. There was no wire in the dig guage side for it. I did not look it up in the wiring diagram. But, your post made me think about something that might be causing my fi light to glow in that I use the sidestand wires for my alarms ignition disable module. I bet there is a resistance to the module that might make the fi glow like the side stand is down.
