XXSTAR
on a drag race only bike. stock with pc-11 4-1 headers, should I use a exhaust can, [ for back pressure ] or will the PC-11 compenseate for low or no back pressure. this will be on a carb XX motor. would go to the trouble to put FI on it, so I can run a PC-111, thanks Ron
Furbird
Leave the exhaust on. On a carbed bike, you'd have to rejet and retune the bike for no exhaust. Not to mention, most tracks require you to run an exhaust system of some sort, even if it is fake looking.
rockmeupto125
Carbed bikes don't use a power commander.
Jaygermeister
I run open header when I drag. I have the 4 into 1 Erion race system on a 98 XX thats on the rich side. I'm not consistent enough to tell you if it makes any big difference but it sure makes a lot of noise.
MrBadExxample
would go to the trouble to put FI on it, so I can run a PC-111, thanks Ron I'm not sure what you're saying. Do you want to change a carbed XX engine to be fuel injected so you can use a PC-III? That doesn't seem worth it to me. Rejetting would be easier.
