exxcess
OK, this is probably an assanine newbie question. What's the easiest method for putting in the lower two well nuts on the windshield and keeping them on without having to disassemble the front fairing. I put a Cheetah windshield in and popped both of them off during install. I finally obtained two new ones and would rather not pop them out again. What happened to the originals? I was going to be late for work so I did not have time to "fish" for them. Probably in the median somewhere on I-164.
SwampNut
I glued mine with 3M Automotive Trim & Plastic Adhesive. Everyone should keep that stuff in the garage, it's amazing. I went with glue because the screen has to be removed to fit the bike in the van, so I remove it more often than others might.

RichardCranium
BTW...I bet the old ones are still in there somewhere. I dropped one down in there once and it was a challenge getting it back out.
mickcbr1100
I dropped one and heard it rattle a fair way down so knew it wasnt in the top fairing, spent an hour taking the lowers off both sides and searching everywhere round the engine.....then found it resting on top of the front fender in the rigid brakelines
