I have a X11 and the bottom of my radiator mounts to a bracket that is on the motor and comes out between the center pipes. Does the blackbird rad mount to tabs on the head pipes?

PGA XX

So you have the 97-98 system on your 02?

I asked Akra this question and received a response that didn't explain in detail:

Dear Sir,

Unfortunately it will not fit, because the header tube assemblys and the linkpipes are different.

Best regards,

Zadeva: RE: CBR1100XX sport production

Dear Ales,

Thank you for the help.

I have one more question.

Can a CBR1100XX Sport production system for 96-98 work on a 99-03 ?

What is the difference?

Does the later model have a o2 sensor mount?

Thank you,

Chris

That reply is correct, they are different. But, many places here in the states carry only the earlier version and sell it as a one size fits all..without the owners the any wiser.

The radiator mounts on a bracket on the head which you will need to space out, also the bottom link tube will hit the plastic and will require some spacers under the left lower. I have the correct system on a 99 and it also needs these....there isn't a bunch of difference..if you are buying new...get the correct one...used and a good price.....try it and see what you think.....
