jlh1967xx
I think I made a stupid mistake. I bought my bike with 9800 miles on it and was told the only modifications were the Erion Racing Slip ons. I wanted a little more comfort so I ordered some Heli Bars. Well I took the stockers off and compared to the helibars and thay are almost identical in height. I think the previosus owner installed VFR bars. Anybody got pics of stock clipons compared to VFR clipson or Helibars? Also, a side note, I installed the Stainless steel braided lines for front brakes and clutch and love them however bleading them was a royal pain. Took forever to get the air out, actually over 3 hours. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey Rock have you got preload spacers and Vtech bars on your bike and if so did you have to get longer brake lines ? :icon_think:
Helvet
Check out this posting on our Forum. You will see a comparison with lots of pictures between standard clip-ons, VFR's and Gilles VarioBar. Helibars are hardly ever sold here, so they are not in the comparison..... http://www.blackbirdownersclub.nl/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=

And if so did it require longer clutch and brake lines?

I now have 2" longer speigler lines
airborneXX
You can sort of see the stock bars in this pic. I have VFR bars now. [attachmentid=2714]
