redxxrdr
I rode mine for almost 500 miles with a tight link. But that was because I couldn't find where the clunck was coming from. You don't say how agressive you ride, or how old the chain is. Mine stuck at 18k miles, and was still in the green for adjustment. No rust coming from the chain either. You will probably be OK, but if the chain does break, it can get expensive. You are changing sprockets with the chain right? If not, every revolution with a stuck link is wearing those old sprockets more.
MTXX
Scott, The cluck I have had from time to time is the master link. I have had it replaced a few times. It seems to last a few thousand miles then starts binding again. I just had it replaced again this week. I probably use 3 to 4 master links for the life of the chain. And it doesn't seem to matter what link is used. I believe the problem is in the installation. I wish the clip type link could be used. Good Luck, MTXX
XXBIRD
Is it possible that you may be tightening the tool so much to make the rivet at the pin resulting plate to damage the o-ring?
