There are and have been many Akro systems installed on Birds in Europe many years before you ever had a Bird ..................Dear John:............I'm not trying to impress anyone, simply stating the facts about MY personal experience with that exhaust system, could be thousands of documented happy customers from that company, all I know is mine pushed out the fairing at the bottom and was hard pressed against the oil filter, two reasons they took it back and gave me a full refund, maybe they sent me the wrong one, I do not know the reason. I don't tell people online they are full of BS when I disagree with them and certainly wouldn't tell someone to pull their head out of their ass either............All I have done here is compliment the XX, no need for your attitude! My issue was not about your "experiences" with the Akro but rather the rediculous statement that "The Importer in California I bought it from later said I was the first person to buy one of them and apoligized for the inconvenience." And you actually would believe such a statement much less repeat it on a forum of Blackbird riders ?? Maybe it is an age thing or maybe you just don't know better but it was not an acccurate thing to post which in my book is pure BS at least coming from this Cali importer. If you thought there was any truth to what he told you then you have to be very young or very nieve or both. You are always welcome to hang out here in this forum and even go on rideouts with members as you have been invited to do this weekend if you like. Really everyone here are pretty good people most of the time but one thing for sure the members are very very knowledgable when it comes to most anything having to do with the Blackbird. Any statements known to be BS will be put to the fire test real quick around here. Thick skin is a must around here and nothing is to be taken personal. By the way I did the Morosso dragstrip thing for the first time about 4 weeks ago and it was a blast even if I did beat Adam only one race out of 4 !!
