  1. Final Detail works great, an instant spray wax. just wipe it off, leaves no residue on the blacks, keeps bugs from sticking.
  2. Thank you, just when I was starting to think there was hope for you too. Airhorns on a Blackbird. :icon_doh: this place still amazes me!..............
  3. Go back to sleep and dream about beating John Force in the 1/4 or something.. You goofy-ass Red Neck put airhorns on your friggin Blackbird? Did you have one on top of each mirror? damn! where did you mount the "Dual Antenna's Whippin in the Wind"......................... ........... :icon_hand: nevermind. Did I show you my lawnmower?......................... [attachmentid=2588]
  4. "I did it and its not worth it. Used it once and pulled it all off and popped the stocker back on the bike "............................................................................ :icon_think: .........Your'e kidding?
  5. Yes , you can disable them when not in use. Very easy operation to do as well. Jer, don't forget that you'll need full leathers/ boots / gloves as well to race. Got all that stuff,..................Maybe by the time you get done making your xx pretty I'll have me a switch and go have some fun,........................but.................you probably won't wanna play no more cause you might scratch your bike or something..............................get it dirty.........................................................
  6. I want one too so I can go kick Busa Butt with Adam at the drags!................Need it for tech at Moroso, but, I don't want to use it on the street so can you just turn them off until you go to the track?
  7. "Are you the guys who raced a Busa with a garden tractor and won?"............................................. There you go again ..........................I said "Busa's are ugly and wouldn't make a Pimple on a Garden Tractor's Ass..........
  8. What about road tar and the like after long rides? A little WD-40 like others mentioned, once in a while i'll drag the rag over it after using Honda Polish on the bike and stuff don't stick to it as bad, like your face shield and front of the bike, a little polish makes it slick.
  9. A damp rag works for me!............Two Bro's, 30,000 miles on it. :icon_shifty:
  10. After seeing the Sea Foam Topic I decided to share My Miracle with you nice folks. A mechanic twenty years ago told me to put this in my garden tractor, it worked! 1963 Simplicity 10 horse single horizontal shaft iron block Briggs motor was so wore out you couldn't feel the compression stroke when you turned it over by hand, after you finally got it started, smoked to beat hell and would foul the plug if you let it idle for more than a few seconds. I dumped a whole four cylinder size can in it and started mowing, two hours later there was a noticeable reduction in smoke and increase in power, I swear to GOD. The next week it started faster and smoked less, the more I used it the better it got. The tractor was used to maintain an R-C car race track, dragging clay, mowing grass, ect. ect. After twenty or so hours it almost completely quit smoking and ran like a top, lasted five years adding more restore with oil changes until some dumb-ass ran it out of oil one day when I wasn't there. Since then I have used it in several older vehicles with noticeable improvements. Comes in three sizes, silver cans, 4-6-8 cylinder. Quote from can! "Engine Restore and Lubricant, with CSL fills scratches and improves the seal between piston rings and cylinder wall's".................When a motor has enough miles to smoke at start up this will stop that and will be the best $9.00 you ever spent, I promise, and ya'll know me by now, I would never bullshit ya!.
  11. I gotta go to work, it's hard not to go after that one.........maybe.......... :icon_think: ... she has such a nice gap between her legs though!..................I Like Pussy!.............but I need the money more. bye!
  12. I know you're trolling, but I'll say it anyway... 1. it's not a mag article... it's a published test report... BIG difference. 2. The SAE doesn't try and sell anything... it's a group with membership, not a company that sells stuff... In fact, if they were selling anything associated with companies they work for, it would be selling to change your oil more often, because then they'd sell more oil... Mike I know you wouldn't have typed all this crap if you didn't love me.
  13. I disected some oil filters a while back a few times at 1000 miles. Valvoline oil looked a little cleaner in appearance than Honda oil did and it had more particles in the bottom of the drain pan after it settled! I been using Honda oil since. Note! I didn't reference any magazine article, or use any statements from anyone trying to sell something.
  14. I LOVE Slick 50. If it didn't taste so bad I'd put that in my coffee insteada sugar!. OK! Just when I thought he was about done trolling around... Mike Isn't the internet wonderful? you can have your OPINION, I can have mine.............................This is just like Fox News, fair and balanced!............................ ...................
  15. It does actually have a drain plug and I do change it regularly (supra mkiv) Little goody's like that is why Japan auto makers been kickin the Big-Three's Ass'es the last 30 years, engineering, tighter tolerances. They make it so the average person has to take their American Made Vehicle to the shop to change the tranny filter and fluid and recommend it around 30-50,000 miles? A few years back after you bought a new vehicle at around 100,000 miles you needed a tranny rebuild cause it was full of metal following their factory maintenance schedule. I always put a drainplug in my tranny pans so I could at least change some of the fluid every other oil change. No one is gonna convince me either that you can change any lubricant "Too Often" or that "New Oil" wears a motor more than Old Oil, that's pretty silly. :icon_duh: Every hour a motor runs is an hour of wear in the lubricant.
  16. "Honda (or any manufacturer) would not sell as many bikes (or cars) if they reccomended 3K mile oil change periods and competitors 8K periods, would they?. People nowadays are into 'maintenance-free' purchases".................................................................. Just imagine if your automatic transmission had a drain plug and external screw on filter so you could easily change it every 10000 miles, you would NEVER need to replace it!
  17. You got to do the research and decide for yourself unless you just want a bunch of opinions. When you look at factory sponsored winning Honda's what do they use? :icon_shifty:
  18. I wonder about people that put 3-5000 miles on oil in a 11000 rpm motor, do they only brush their teeth once a day or shower twice a week because their toothpaste or soap has "Extra Protection Ingredients"? :icon_think: .......................... .......................... :icon_shifty: ..........................
  19. I use my 2nd trip odometer for oil changes, every 1000 to 1200 miles. To each his own.
  20. If YOUR oil hasn't changed color after 1300 mile's there's something seriously wrong with your oil! Don't you think there's a possibility an oil company can add something to keep it clean looking for appearance, feel good reasons? WOW! I got five thousand miles on this new oil and it still looks like the day I put it in here! YIPPEEEE! I found an OIL I NEVER have to change..................If you don't mind an Ole Carpenters Opinion, oil is beautiful fresh out of the bottle, soon as the engine starts and the whole time it's running there's fuel contamination and metal, ever so fine, wearing down and going through the engine. The hotter and more rpm's the more contamination. How long would it take you to put 3000 miles on your lawn mower? Id venture to say many decades. How often do you change oil in your mower, once a year, :icon_think: every 30 miles at what, 500 rpm's??????????????????????????????????
  21. I stayed there last year and loved it, the garage next to each room is big enough for a few bikes. He was adding more rooms and had plans for a snack bar, pool, and a tennis court. Seems the Commissioners there have a monopoly on the alcohol licenses, you got to qualify as a "Resort" to sell booze in that county. If you go there be sure to stock up on your favorite beverages on the way or you got to ride ten or fifteen miles once you get there to buy them.
  22. How many miles to put on an engine before you switch to 50 weight oil? :icon_think:

    CIVIC HELP

Pull the proper radiator hose to see if it's pumping out, While your'e down there make sure there's not a little branch or something kinking the hose or sometimes old age will collapse them too.

    CIVIC HELP

Did you replace the Radiator Cap? They get old, loose the pressure and nothing works or pumps or sucks! :icon_think: cheapest, fastest, easiest, most common coolant system failure.
