I'm selling my 03 with 12,250 miles on her. Just did oil change, coolant flush and chain clean and lube. Full Erion exhaust, Throttlemeister and Corbin seat. Back tire has less than 500 miles on it, front maybe 2500, both Michelin Pilot Road 2 with DynaBeads. She's not perfect but she's been well taken care of. Help please. Cleaned up my 03 with 12,000 miles on her. I was headed out for about a 200 mile trip. Got about 25 miles from home and the FI light came on. I pulled over and shut the bike off, let it sit for about 30 seconds and started it back up, light was off. Headed back home and light came back on. The bike was running fine, the only thing I noticed was when the light was on it was idling about 250 rpms higher. The light will now come on about a minute after a start up now. Thanks in advance.

OK the shutdown from hell is over! I've been working 13 on and 1 off for the last 2.5 months. If anybody it still interested in these tires, I'll now have time to deal with getting them shipped. Sorry for the huge delay.

I have two Pilot Powers 180/55/17 both with less than 500 miles on them. The thing is they both have a small puncture in them. One of them the piece of wire didn't even go completely through it. The other one only had a very small piece of metal in it. $50.00 each plus shipping.

How do you remove the drive sprocket cover? I have never had it off and I want to clean under it.

On my way home from work this morning. I was winding it up pretty good and somehow missed second. Revs never got over 10k. I let the revs come down and try going to second. It made a bad grinding sound as it went in to second. I was still going about 50 mph. It shift fine after this, what do ya'll think, anything to worry about?

Who makes the best 4 to 1 exhaust system for the XX. I'm going to replace the OEM on by 03 very soon. I'm looking for best performance. I will be installing a PCIII also. Thanks

Pensacola didn't get a lot of water from Katrina. I live in Pascagoula, MS and we got about 4 ft in my house that's about 3 ft off the ground. Pensacola is about 90 miles east of us. My bike was in my house so it was under 4 ft of saltwater for about 5 hours. The only thing I saved was the Erion exhaust system and the Throttlemeister. There was no water in the gas tank. I let the insurance company have it. No way would I have tried to repair it, just asking for trouble down the road.

I got an Interstate for about $80.00. It's made by Yuasa.

It's about the same @ 5200-5300 rpm no matter what gear I'm in.

It doesn't get any worse. I can't really say if it goes away either.

Maybe i wasn't clear it starts at about 5200 - 5300 rpms.

I bought a 2002 with 4700 miles on it. It is pretty smooth until about 5200-5300 rpms and the I get a little buzz in the handbars. My old bike (RIP) didn't do this. Any ideas?

Wouldn't the fluid have to leak out for air to get in?

I'm using Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40. Seems fine to me. It was a little hard to find. I had a friend who owns a swiftlube order it for me.

I'm thinking about getting a Power Commander. I have a 02 with a full Erion exhaust system. What improvements have you seen with the Power Commander? Is it worth getting?

I have an Erion exhaust system. On their web site they recommed NOT using a K & N filter. They said they got better preformance with a stock Honda filter. Good enough for me!
