Whitey
I just installed a Pilot Road rear tire and I'm going to need to replace the front tire soon. The front is currently a Pilot Sport and I'm not sure if I should replace it with a Pilot Road, or a Pilot Power. I do a lot of straight line, two up riding so I tend to wear out the centres rather quickly. I think I'm leaning a little bit more towards going with the Pilot Road. Does the Road offer enough grip for the front or should I go with the Power? Thanks for your help. Pat.
jcrich
Either would be sufficent. The Powers are softer and will wear more quickly that the Road.
bartonmd
I never really had any problems with the front Road, but the front Power is a LOT better, because of the faster turnin and more stick... Mike
SBBXX
Hey Pat I've got PRs on the front and back and I really like them. Some have tried a power/road combo and have had nothing but good things to say. I may try it when the front is due. marty

Mike +1 on stick and turnin, luv the PR rear / PP front combo (1st time), best setup ever by far on XX 4 me... Only downside is it instills so much confidence my cornering speed has gone up 5-10 when i keep telling myself be more sane :icon_doh:
FloridaSilverBird
I would go with the power. You get the better stick and feel of the power and although it will wear faster the front tire wears fairly slow anyways... I have 4k on my front power and its got pleeenty to go. Just my opinion
