Don't you just love comming home after work and have a package waiting for you. I had those things install in less time than it took me to cook our chicken breast dinner :icon_twisted: .

I use Sylvania Siler Stars for the lights. They have a irridium look which matches the screen nicely.

Much better look now IMO...

Now if I can only make the 2nd mortage that I took out to get all these farkles :icon_redface: .

Plug...

Thanks JohnXX hooking me up! :icon_clap:

Obby,

Which vendor has the best price/inventory on the Clear Alternatives? :icon_cool:

Great looking XX. BTW :icon_thumbsup:

Oh, and put up some shelving in the garage, K?

Johns Bike Bits -aka John01XX on the board.

JohnsBikeBits

Thanks and John is the man for selling these. 15min. install. Excellent form/fit. No regrets to say the least.

BTW, All XX's IMO should have these in the front. I personally leave the rear alone, but that me.

Installed mine today.

Many thanks to JohnXX for the fantastic, but normal for him, customer service. I also appreciate the advice that he provided on how to eliminate the front running lights.

Thanks Bill,

Actually the tape on the bulb trick was created at SEXXT 2003 by none other than the Great "Electrician" himself, Mr Vern aka "xrated." You all know the guy that sells Hardley's, I mean Honda at the Hardley dealership or is it Hardleys at the Honda dealership now, ....what ever !!!

Simple, quick and reversible if wanted, with no cutting or splicing. Mine hasn't been touched since SEXXT 2003 and works great or should I say doesn't work !!

John asked me to post the question to anyone that has installed the L.E.D. version of the tailight lens.

Does the Clear Alternatives running/brake light remain fairly bright from a side view as well? I know most L.E.D. are pretty bright when viewed directly, but I want to make sure that the bike's rear lighting is still as visible as the stock taillight during the day, when viewed from a side angle (lane merging car). For safeties sake, that is. :icon_think:

Thanks!

Your's looks great too BTW Will - I have a 98 BB in Ti as well and I was thinking that the clear lenses would look better, something to look at down the track :icon_evilgrin:

Thanks, After getting rid of the stock orange front signals I proceeded to get rid of all signs of orange from it like the rear signals and reflectors.

Didn't realize how ugly orange is on it. :icon_lol:

I like the way the signals blend in with the headlamp housing with the clears on instead. :icon_wink:

Thanks!

I have the LED version. It's about the same brightness as stock when viewed from the side but, much brighter from directly behind. The appearance is different in that, on the CA version, there are 2 disctinct circular spots (from behind) rather than the whole housing being illuminated.
