HandyAndy888
I read that adding Automatic Transmission Fluid to the fuel acts as a carby cleaner. Is this true? If yes, how much do I add? If true, can someone explain how it works? Thanks in advance brains trust...
indy500
Yes it works, but I would reccommend using Sea Foam instead. ATF is an old mechanics trick, I think that you can buy a product called Marvel Mystery Oil( ATF in a fancy bottle) to do the same thing as well. HandyAndy888
I can not seem to find SeaFoam here in Australia. Pleanty of other cheap carby/injector cleaners, but I have some ATF lying around in my shed and I'm wondering if I could just use that.
