Master Of Pain
I've seen a few pictures of a XX with a real meaty looking leather cover over the whole tank - does anybody know the vendor of this thing?
redxxrdr
Bagster has a tank bag system that uses a leatherette tank cover and bags. Saw one on a K1200rs that looked good. Hope this link gets you to the CBR version. Bagster XX
county
Mine is Bagster and it's great (but pricey - $250) I dunno if you can get just the cover (or would want it). Cover has spring clips in the back and plastic "things" in the front for the bag...These allow for flipping bag up for fueling and quick removal. You should be aware that Bagster is made in France
Cossi
I would love a bagster, BUT, I have yet to see that they offer one in titanium color. If I could find one of them I would be all over it. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Is this too light? Grey Bagster on Ebay (BTW, I'm at work, so I can't access eBay to see if the above link is still valid. I pulled it off of my posting in January on this site.) redxxrdr
Just realized something about the bagster site I linked. FRENCH SITE. Colors do not track USA model years. My redbird is a light claret for 2002. But as we say at my company. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM IN FRANCE. :icon_doh:

Any ideas? yes, you want the "sky grey" color. The XX was available in titanium color in Europe in '96 through '98, and in Canada in '98.... Here is the cover and the part # http://www.bagster.com/en/moto/catalogue-z...=1328C&idprod=1 The picture doesn't give justice to the color. The bag is more like it, though. http://www.bagster.com/en/moto/catalogue-z...=803W1&idprod=2 And here is a photo of a bike with the cover installed. Contact CIMA Intl. for more info..... 866-2HELMET or helmets@aol.com...... Same people who import Nolan helmets..... Good luck,
