Pete in PA
Just read the test in Rider mag. the first tire that's a dual compound I've seen since Bridgestone. I thought they were basically metzeler Z6 tires but I never heard they were dual compound. (plus I only got 4200 miles on the rear Z6) I hope someone is/will run these. It will be awhile before I must choose my next tires.
silverbird1100
Don't do it. A rep at the cycle news show said they are even softer than the Z6. I rolled my eyes and pretended I was interested in something else. If you don't care about your bike handling like a pig, try the Pilot's already

Mr dos equis
I've been running pilot sports for the last 2yrs and been very happy with them. I get about 4500 out of a rear and probably 7 out of a front. I don't think the bike handles bad for what it is, giant and bulky. I just got a new set of pilot powers that I'm going to spoon on. When I get some milage on them I'll post some feedback.
MOTOXX
I went through two Diablo rears and got only 2500k each so I tried a Strada hoping to get more mileage. I got only 2300k out of the Strada. Whats up with that? I think I'll try the AV49 / AV46 combo next.
Pete in PA
2300 miles. Glad I can take that tire off my list without having to run it. My Contiforces are still doing well but it's still early for mileage.
