Steve
Helmet, gloves, boots, that's about it for gear...
Steve
Helmet, gloves, boots, and kevlar jacket and pants that's about it when I'm gearing up.
Furbird
I run a 16/45 on the street because it a) helps low-end and makes it easier to wheelie. Today I received my new setup, a 12/49 (yeah, I said 12). But don't worry, that's not for the street. That's for my slick and wheelie bars so I can see what the Bird will really do on motor!
Northman
18/45 works well for me, but I have a bit more torque than most of you...
The Krypt Keeper
so does a Harley Northman... Would be sweet with about 185 - 200 hp at the tire
demon
I like all 6 gears. I run a 16/46 on mine. Really like it.
bturd
just changed mine to a 16/44, its definetly better but a bit lower would be awesome
xxxbirdxxx
16/45 The only down fall is you lose 6th gear. Figurtivly speeking that is! 6th will fell like 6th now and so on. But I like it. Gas milage sucks also. :whogives:
blkbrd33
i went a tooth smaller on the countershaft and a tooth bigger on the rear. also used AFAM aluminum sprockets. i barely noticed a difference in power, but the engine does seem to spin up a little easier. wheelies seem to come easier too, along with some unwanted wheelspin. oh well, you take the good with the bad i guess. 8)
