demon
Get ahold of Don on that one. He's powdercoated his wheels the color of his bird.
Redbird
I didn't do my rims, but I did do a bunch of other shit. Cleaning isn't any easier with powdercoating, the stuff is just waay tougher than paint. Maintainance is similar, with the exception that you can blow it off a lot longer with powdercoating without any worries about damage to the finish. jcrich
I have mine powdercoated, I also had them clearcoated. Put good wax on them and I found them easier to clean, just wipe them off with a rag
TFT
Put good wax on them and I found them easier to clean, just wipe them off with a rag I found that to be the key. My wheels are chromed, the wheels on my wife's bike are powder coated. Lots of wax means less work cleaning.
rickrad
I have mine powdercoated. I use an all wheel cleaner, let it sit for a minute then spray it off. Done, shiny! I also had my lower fork legs done. Too slick.
demon
My wheels are polished. I agree with the waxing. I wax my wheels after every wash whether I wax the rest of the bike or not.
