Dano
Is $51.00 delivered for a set of Iridium plugs a good deal? IMR9A-9H That's sparkplugs.com If not where should I get them.
Pete in PA
Do a search on iridium. You'll get more info then you want.
XXTi
That's not too bad I guess. The IMR 9A-9H plugs are 10.99 each (plus sales tax) at the local O'Reily Auto Parts store.
The Krypt Keeper
I paid $32.00 for mine from Shawn at Tricktape. Look around you will find a better deal.
XXTi
That's a great price for 9A-9H's. Were they 9A-9H or the other iridium plug?
The Krypt Keeper
honestly don't remember  I read several posts on here about people changing plugs, wrote down the number people were using for 02' birds ordered them from Shawn while I had him on the phone for a couple other things. All I remember was the price being $32,
bar10dah
I got mine from ronayers.com last time. I think they were less than $7 a piece plus $7 or $8 for shipping. I'll have to dig up the receipt. But anyways, it's good to get all your other maintenance items at the same time to save some shipping money. I usually get oil filters and air filters from them at the same time. They've got some good prices on the stuff.

bar10dah
I was looking at my last invoice (Sept 8, 2003) from ronayers.com and the last price I paid for the iridium plugs were $7.06 each. Guess inflation caused them to go up nearly a dollar apiece :???: .
XXTi
Yeah, the CR9EHIX-9 plugs are cheaper than the 9A-9H plugs. I just learned the difference the other day on the Sparkplug.com web site. The CR9EHIX-9 has an iridium center electrode and a conventional side electrode. The 9A-9H has an iridium center and a platinum side electrode. (I'm going from memory here, but I think that's right.) I have no idea if it really makes any difference, but I think I'll spring for the 9A-9H plugs next time I change mine.
