BeauXX
After putting Heli-bars on, I recently cut off the locator tabs on the hydraulic resevoir on the clutch side, and turned the clutch lever down to a more comfortable position. Now the clutch lever seems to stick a bit. Nothing seems kinked. The Hydralic hose is straight. Any ideas from the resident wisdom on this site? Is there any limit to where the banjo bolt can be located relative to the reservoir? If not, why are the locator tabs there in the first place? TrentXX
I remeber trying to rotate my clutch lever down and It was causing interference with the plastic housing for the light switch. Look inbetween the lever and the bar when you squeeze it and see if they are touching. You might have to back it off a bit and rotate it up a bit as I did. SD Marc
Yup, I rotated mine down and it was catching on the light switch housing.
Pete in PA
The tabs are there to positively angle the fittings for assembly in the factory and when you turn the bolt the fitting doesn't turn with it.
