camell0ndosequis
Ok, fellas ... I'm having a problem with this seemingly easy screw out plug. The previous installer must of gotten the threads crossed, cuz that f'er ain't coming out. once the screwdriver slipped (and being the soft alum that it is) it started to strip. i broke out the wd-40 and let it soak a bit, hoping it would solve the problem. wrong! so now it's all f'd up! and i'm running out of options. any of ya'll got any advice? thanks... Andy1100
I'm assuming its a straight slot screw you're referring to? If it's bad see if you can use a dremel and cut a new slot perpendicular, so you now have an x. Then you can start over and strip that one too! Use an impact driver on this one.....if possible.
