jcrich
John, have you tried raising the stock bars? You can move them up on the forks a bit. I have the top of the bar even with the fork tube cap, and it helped quite a bit. By the way, are you going to make it down to Mt. Dora, Sunday for the FUXXT? Check the Riders Mtg. section for info. AZITPRO
I have read (no experience) that the Heli bars are the way to go.
Hobicus
VFR Bars. Run a search on the board on it.
demon
I have my stock clipons raised 3/4" up the tubes. Works like a charm. The genmars are for looks only. If you raise yours 3/4", it's the same as the genmars. Heli bars and VFR bars actually move the grips up and back more than sliding the stock ones up. Mykl
I moved mine up 3/4", like it better... want to get VFR bars.
Pete in PA
My bike came used with the Heli's already on. Took me 2 weeks to realize it. I then moved the Heli's up the fork tubes 1/2 in. and now am happy. If I were doing it though I would do the VFR bars. They're cheaper and look "stock".
