  1. I have a windshield if you still need one, make an offer.
  2. Yup, scatched the wheel on the left side because I didn't remove the left caliper. SOB! Should be easier putting it all back together this afternoon. I now see the benefit of having a good lift stand. I'm currently using the 2x4 under the centerstand and strap from the from the triple tree to the ceiling method. Effective but a little sketchy. I have two d rings mounted to the floor near the rear tire ( 1 on each side of the bike), I put the bike on the center stand and use two ratchet straps from undertail frame down to the d rings and tighten them down. this pulls the front end into the air, remove fender and caliper ( takes about 3 - 4 mins. ). wheel falls off. There are no scratches to rim and no need for a lift.
  3. IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE A KID N PLAY HAIR CUT ( the high fade)
  4. John, i saw aomething called shrooms on your site, what is that?
  5. PIZZA tell me what it taste like I cant remember :icon_banghead:
  6. Great job, I wieghed in yesterday @ 292 and my body fat percentage and had dropped 5%. so 315 - 292 = 23 lbs since the first of the year. hopefully this pic wont be me this year. lol
  7. I had mine done 2 yrs ago and love it. also had pegs and brackets done, probably do swing arm and forks this spring. Buddy of mine had powder coating shop, I had all of this done plus my rims for only $50 bucks
  8. Sounds like your on the right track. Good job and keep posting your improvements it may keep some of us inspired to keep trying
  9. The deadlift was my favorite when I use to lift, The most I was ever able to get was 475. Thought I was going to crap my pants when I did it, alot of grunting going on.
  10. YES, I won. We did our final weigh in and I lost 17 pounds. I am down to 298 now. 280 here I come!!
  11. Good job ya bunch of losers. I was tempted today. I went in to the gas station to pay for some petro and I saw the krispy kream display and they were fresh. YUMMY!!! But I was a good guy and passed them up. 280 here I come.
  12. Well today is the 30th only 5 more days to go and i've lost 15 pounds. at this rate of a pound every two days i will be Americas Next Supermodel. ha ha
  13. Guys thanks for the info and the link. I didn't mean to start a pissing contest, but it was amusing. I currently run dunlops. the mileage sucks I get about 5000 out of the rear and about 7000 out the front. I've tried bridgestone and have went down with them they just dont warm up quick enough for me. its not so much the money issue, but if I can get the same mileage and proformance out of a cheaper brand and save a couple hundred it just makes sense. thanks for the input y'all Jamie
  14. We started a biggest loser competition at work, everyone put in $20 bucks and the winner takes all. we have 30 days. Weighed in jan 4 at 315 my goal is to drop below 300 for the month, but eventually i would like to get to 260. I've cut out pop (soda), fast foods, and fried foods. I have not done any cardio, and I've stopped eating at least 3 hours befor bedtime. weighed in this morning at 304. 11 pounds in 19 days I can live with that, plus this is a routine i can stick with, Its not really dieting just common sense.
  15. Has anybody tried these tires, I found a set @ ironpony.com for $150 a set. I'm thinking about triyng them, for the money i dont think i could go wrong.
  16. I had to find one online, just google motorcycle salvage, the good thing about most bikes when there wrecked it doesn't hurt majority of the electrical system.
  17. this is the starter solenoid. the dealership wants $80.00 for it. I would like to find one a bit more reasonable. Also I need the pink plug off the main wiring harness, again the dealerships want $488.00. it only comes with the complete wiring harness. If some one has a wrecked bike or used parts they would sell just let me know and give me a price. I am desperate. I got trips planned for the Gap and W.V. Also need back tire and front brakes shoes if anybody has some they want to sell.
  18. this is off a 97 xx. as you can tell mine is fried, if any one has one for sell let me know. thanks
  19. I've got the same problem on my '97, I've had the front end balanced, tried dunlop and bridgestone tires, and yes it seems to happen when I am am at a constant speed below 50mph or decelerating with my hands off the bars. I guess the next step would be check the head bearings. I didn't read all the post so excuse me if someone had already asked this, but how hard are they to change?
  20. The battery was bought new this spring, Yes I had to pull the tail section. and thanks for the info on the other threads. I've looked at it some more today and I believe it may be a loose connection somewhere, because the dash lights came on and flickered when I was moving some wiries around, now the hard part is finding which wire, I guess process of elimination. but again guys thanks.
  21. If anyone has any input please give it. i have a 97 xx, with no additional electrical components. I rode home from work this morning and every thing was fine. went back out to get on it, turned the key. NOTHING happened, no lights on the instrument panel, no head or tail lights. but when the key is turned off the clock works then goes blank with the key on. the battery has good charge and all of the fuses are good even the 30 amp under the relays is fine. So if any body can help please do so. or if i need to give you more info tell me and i'll try to. thank you "update" I found the problem. On the left hand side of the battery theres a junction box of some sorts that you + wire goes to. It has a pink plug on it that supplies the power for the bike. The wiring harnes has melted to the box ( relay ?) has anyone hasd this happen before? if so what caused it and how much and how hard to fix. I know I'm going to have to cut the wires and splice a new plug back on. other than that is there anything else I would need to check out?
