  1. Wow I wouldn't go that high on PSI, if it doesn't seat at 60PSI or so I put the valve stem back in and fill it up to 50PSI. Then bounce the tire on the floor a few times it usually pops then.
  2. Adjust the spring on the rear shock it is a good starting point at least.
  3. CCT at around 20,000Km 4 years(32,000Km)Replaced the battery with a bigger one as the old one was starting to get weak. Most likely caused by the cold temps up here in winter, I forgot the battery in the bike over the winter... 4 years(32,000Km) rubber tool strap again likely from the extreme cold. 4 sets of tires, 1 set of brake shoes, 1 chain and set sprockets
  4. You don't even have to remove the right lower fairing. You only have to remove the one bolt on that pannel the one closest to the CCT.
  5. +1 The angle on the bottom of the reflector is angled up so it's high beam. If it's backwards switch the wires behind the headlight.
  6. I tried to setup a Power Commander Map bank about a year ago. I only got 2 maps so I never bothered making one. At the time I don't think the forum would allow me to upload them. I've since had my bike dyno tuned so now I have 3. And since a few people have asked for maps I figured I'd try and stick them in here. I do have one or two other maps that were sent to me but I want to get permission to post it before I add them. Please feel free to send any other maps you may have besides the ones on dynojet's site. I'll glady add them to this post and upload them so they are in one place. Between 0-5000 RPM and less than 10% TPS the map works for economy. Anything above 5000RPM or above 10% TPS it map is setup for power. Use these maps at your own risk, since they came from members that are using them there shouldn't be any issues. BUT they may cause you bike to run too lean or too rich. You should at least check your plugs after running them to make sure your bike is running right. If you do use any of these maps it would be helpful to let others know how it worked for your setup. Mod's can you please sticky... Warp11XXmap.zip ron_map.zip XXRiders_03_CBR1100xx_Map.zip
  7. You will see very little differance in power between slip on's. I got two brothers and LOVE them.
  8. If they do have a new dyno jet and a operator that knows what he is doing it doesn't take long at all. I found someone that was quite good and had him tune my map so that less than 10% TS and under 5000RPM is economy. Anything above 10% TPS or above 5000RPM it is configured for best power. I've got a 03 with 2Bros Slip on's, pair removed, and K&N if anyone wants to try the map PM me. I'll gladly send it to ya.
  9. If you have no plans to insolate or paint why drywall? The price of drywall is nuts here. I'd just use thin plywood/chip board as it's likely cheaper than drywall. Not to mention it's easier to hang, tougher and easier to nail things to for storage.
  10. Since your current numbers are + I'd take the area that you feel the flat spot and make them 0's. If it gets better then you had too much fuel, if it's worse you need to add more. You can reset all to 0 and it is the factory setting so you should be fine going to 0.
  11. Price sounds right. Not sure why he mentioned the time as it doesn't take anywhere near that long. But that maybe how many hours you were going to be charged.
  12. Yes it can be done, but you'll need more than just the gauges. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?...97&hl=gauge http://www.cbr1100xx.org/forums/index.php?...ital+gauge+swap
  13. Are you talking about changing the clock(part that tells the time) or the whole gauge package?
  14. I was told or read(can't remember what way) that, applying the rear brake, uses the centre pistons on each front brake and the two outer piston's on the rear brake. Applying the front brake, applies the two outside pistons of each front brake, and the centre piston on the rear. Anyone know for sure what one is right?
  15. I'd pull off the tail cowl and check all the wires. Do you hear the flasher clicking?

I've never seen a 19T, you might have to go smaller on the back to get higher gearing. Approx 3 teeth smaller on the back should be close to 1 on the front.
  17. If you want something to pass inspection you can use it to fill rust holes in cars, and paint over it... not a great idea mind you but does work.
  18. What is mono foam? It's a expanding spray foam insulation. Can has hose on it you point and shoot, it expands BIG time, one large can of foam will probably fill up a car. http://www.rustoleum.com/product.asp?frm_p...d=605&SBL=5
  19. If I understand what you mean, you basically have a uninsulated box to the roof. If that's the case why not drill a hole and add a can of mono foam
  20. Great idea... I have to do something like that but the space will be taken by electronics.. I realize it's in a hard place to see but I'd still put something in it, or paint it so you can't see inside it from under the bike. Edit... what power blocks do you have in there?
  21. Got mine too Stan. AWSOME idea great product. Can't wait to put it on.
  22. Now that is useful info... I did click on the link and see they did rebuild them but I always worry when something isn't for sale anymore. I'm sure there are at least 100 other places will rebuild a shock for me, glad to hear someone would recommend them to get work done on them. I'd rather spend extra $$ to have it done some where else if the workmanship isn't up to par. I guess I'll go searching for the papers on the shock as I am sure they will be wanting it.
  23. I'd put the RR from a R1 on and be done with it. Never heard of anyone having issues with it.
  24. Gee thanks ... I have already looked at there site and they don't even sell wilber shocks any more by the look of things. And to make things better I have no idea how long the warranty is... I guess I got to do a bunch of searching to find the papers that were sent to me with the shock. I know I put them away but apparently I did it too well as I can't find them..lol
